Sweta Mishra
Assistant Professor
Dr. Sweta Mishra is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Management) in the School of Humanities, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. She completed her PhD. in Human Resource Management in the year 2022 from School of Management, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She earned her MBA degree with dual specializations in Human Resource Management and Marketing from School of Management, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She has presented research papers at various national and international level conferences and also has published articles in SCOPUS listed Journals. Apart from being professionally engaged in education field, Dr. Mishra is a singer by passion. She is a trained Hindustani Vocalist and has performed at several national level programs and won many awards for her melodious rendition in various Odia and Bengali movies. Being a scholarship holder in Hindustani vocal and an approved artist of All India Radio are also added feathers on her cap. She maintains a balance between her passion and profession by making both complementary to each other.

• Attended and presented a research paper titled “A Commercial Banking Industry Resilience in the Case of Pandemic: An Impact Analysis through ANOVA”, at the 4th International Conference on Computational Intelligence in Pattern Recognition (CIPR 2022), organized by Department of Computer Science and Technology, IIEST, Shibpur, held in virtual mode from 23rd – 24th April, 2022. The paper got selected and has been published in CIPR 2022. Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (pp 292-303). vol 480. Springer, Singapore. • Was awarded by the Government of Orissa as ‘The Best Playback Singer (Female) for the year 2004’ and was awarded in the year 2006 for the Odia movie named’ Suna Sankhali’. • Completed SANGEET VISHARAD in Hindustani Vocal from Gandharva Mandal, Mumbai. • Awarded scholarship from Centre for Cultural Resources and Training in Hindustani Vocal from New Delhi for 10 years. • Participated in Zee Tv’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2004 and was the first girl to represent Orissa. • Approved Singer of All India Radio, Cuttack. • Performed with 50+ live musicians of highest repute in a concert held in Mumbai. • Also done playback singing in 6 Bengali movies, several Odia movies and Odia albums. • Was awarded for singing by organizations like Soor Tarang (2014), All Odisha Bar Association (2016), Akshay Mohanty Foundation and various other organizations also. • Acted in 10 odia movies as Child Actor and also awarded by Cine Critics Association, Chalachitra Jagat, Film Care, Abhinandanika and several other organizations for movies like Suna Panjuri, Kalamanika, Jeeban Sathi and many more. • Acted in a special advertisement based on Leprosy named ‘Sarita Ra Gatha’, which was a collaborative project of Doordarshan (Government of Odisha) and BBC. This advertisement was internationally awarded as the Best Ad for Leprosy.

Have been associated with an Orphanage named "Ashraya" and is an active member in all the functions of the children home.
