Dr. Ananda Meher, currently working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Humanities (SoH), KIIT Deem to be University, Bhubaneswar. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics, Christ (Deem to be University), Bangalore, and also worked as a Research Fellow at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), Hyderabad. He got awarded Ph.D. in 2022 from the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad, India. He completed his MPhil from the same School in 2015. He did his Master's Degree in Economics from the School of Economics, University of Hyderabad in 2013. He presented many papers in National and International seminars in cities like Bhubaneswar, Warangal, and Hyderabad and also attended research methodology workshops sponsored by VV GIRI Labour Institute, Noida, and Delhi University, Delhi. Dr Ananda was also awarded the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), conducted by UGC in 2014. He also received the best paper award at the 53rd annual conference of Orissa Economic Association in 2021. Currently, working on Issues of Health Inequality, Health Budget, and Labour Migration. He also published papers in national and international Journals like PLOS ONE (Q1 Journal).
