Dr. Seema Ladsaria, Associate Professor, Dr. Sharda Acharya, Senior Assistant Professor, and Ms. Rishikka Patnaik, Assistant Professor, Department of Humanities, School of Liberal Studies, KIIT Deemed to be University, have been selected as Access Teachers for the upcoming English Access Scholarship Program at KIIT.

The faculty members were selected after successfully qualifying an online interview conducted by representatives from the Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Consulate General, Hyderabad, and the Regional English Language Office (RELO), U.S. Embassy, New Delhi.

As part of the programme launch, they participated in the five-day, in-person Access Implementation Lab held in New Delhi from 8–12 June 2026. The training focused on Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL)/English for Specific Purposes (ESP) approaches designed for students in technology and innovation disciplines.

The implementation lab featured hands-on sessions conducted by TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) facilitators, providing practical strategies, structured learning activities, and opportunities to adapt project-based lessons to participants’ own teaching contexts. The programme also offered comprehensive guidance from RELO on curriculum design, programme implementation, and best practices for delivering the English Access Scholarship Program.

The Department of Humanities congratulates the faculty members on this prestigious achievement and wishes them success in their contribution to the English Access Scholarship Program.
