Richita Sulagna Pradhan, Research Scholar in the Department of Humanities, School of Liberal Studies, KIIT Deemed to be University, has successfully completed her Ph.D. Defence Viva Voce Examination under the supervision of Dr. Arpita Goswami, Sr. Assistant Professor.
Her doctoral thesis, titled “Reconnoitering Tradition and Transition: A Select Study of Performing Arts of Odisha”, explores the dynamic relationship between tradition and transformation in Odisha’s performing arts, highlighting their cultural significance and evolving practices in the contemporary era.
This academic milestone reflects Ms. Pradhan’s dedication to scholarly research and contributes significantly to the fields of Performance Studies, Cultural Studies, and Folklore.
