The course English (HS10001) is designed to develop and strengthen students’ communication skills in academic, professional, and social contexts. In today’s globalised world, effective communication is an essential skill for students from all disciplines. This course focuses on enhancing students’ proficiency in the four fundamental language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—while also introducing them to literary texts that enrich their understanding of language, culture, and human experiences. Through a combination of theoretical understanding and practical activities, the course aims to prepare students to communicate confidently and effectively in professional and multicultural environments.
