We are proud to announce that Ms. Priyanka Dash, a final-year M.A. English student from the Department of Humanities, School of Liberal Studies, has won the Best Paper Award at the International Conference titled Reimagining Existence: Emerging Perspectives in World Literature and Language. The conference was organized by the Department of English, School of Liberal Arts, XIM University, Bhubaneswar, from March 10–11, 2025.
Ms. Dash presented a thought-provoking paper titled “Reconfiguring Human Identities: An Ecocritical Exploration of The Ritual,” where she explored how David Bruckner’s 2017 film The Ritual challenges anthropocentric identity through posthumanist and ecolinguistic frameworks.
This remarkable achievement reflects her dedication to literary research and critical thinking. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Dash for this well-deserved recognition!
