The Department of Humanities, School of Liberal Studies, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, successfully organized a Workshop on the Pedagogy of ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) from 17th to 20th February 2025 coordinated by Dr. Sharda Acharya and Dr. Arpita Goswami. The sessions, held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM each day, brought together educators, researchers, and language professionals to explore innovative teaching methodologies for ESOL learners.
The workshop was conducted by Eva Kovacs Balogh, a distinguished Senior Adult Educator and Career Advisor, who shared valuable insights into learner-centered teaching techniques, curriculum design, and effective assessment strategies. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, participants engaged with contemporary pedagogical approaches aimed at enhancing ESOL instruction.
