Sahel Md Delabul Hossain
Assistant Professor
Dr. Sahel Md Delabul Hossain has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities, School of Liberal Studies at KIIT (Deemed to be University) Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, since 2018. He teaches English and Professional Development courses to the UG students of Technology; English Literature and Language courses to Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph. D. students of English. He has taught Commonwealth Literature as part of Foreign Student Exchange Programme at KIIT. Dr. Hossain supervises Undergraduate Projects, Postgraduate Dissertations, and Ph. D in the department. He is actively engaged in various departmental, school-level, and university-level committees in different roles. He has presented his research works in national and international conferences and has published in indexed national and international journals of repute. He believes in the philosophy that education brings positive change in human behaviour and society. Actively involved in social welfare, he participates in events with peers and students to support underprivileged communities. Dr. Hossain advocates for mindfulness in the workplace, a principle he integrates into his daily life through outdoor activities, gardening, and maintaining a consistent routine.
